Winter looms

My pants it's cold here

I’m not one to complain, except when I need to complain. Tonight’s subject is the weather. Right now I’m in Portland, OR, in advance of a 10am flight to Chicago. Later in the week there will be a major storm there, and I will be there as well. I would like to see what winter is like, but I also would like to avoid this scenario:

While unlikely, I feel best when I know that all scenarios are considered.
